Fast Funk
2002 - event - 4 radio transmitters, pocket radios + bandeaus

Upon entry of the FastFunk Lounge visitors were given small pocket sized radios with attached bandeaus. A short video introduction was given on how to use the radios. After setting up the radios the visitors were able to receive one of our four "FF-Channels" which were transmitted from within the space as "unofficial" radio stations. Each of the channels had it's own content, FF1 was the information-channel, sending the bar's menu, the evenings timetable and general information about the FastFunk event. FF2 was an "Open Mic" installed in a small private room with a karaoke machine and an immense internet songbook. Two lectures were held from this room during the evening. FF3 was constantly reading out names from visitors of a previous event at the same location. On channel FF4 a live DJ program was send providing for tunes to fill the dancefloor.
